I don't have this plugin in my /Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder. Safari is 4.0.2 on OS X 10.4.11

Unfortunately the upload won't work at all in Safari and Firefox. The plugin is installed correctly and my device will be recognised (GPSMap76CS Software Version 4.20). But when I click "Read cycling logs" it will only display "Loading, please wait..." and stay as it is...

Perhaps you can help. :-)

Yes. You are right. The Flip4Mac WMV plugin is in conflict with the Garmin Communicator Plugin. After removing that and after restarting Safari 4, Garmin Communicator Plugin works fine.

Thanks for the tip.

I looked through the /Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder and found that "Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.webplugin" was causing the garmin communicator plugin to not get detected by Safari 4. It would be good to find out if this is what you are experiencing. I removed this webplugin and the communicator shows up correctly
